LOL......I just bartered chiropractic services the other day....I love bartering!

And fortunately I get to work from home and be daddy day car now....well when Kell goes back to work.

I am gonna create one more table with 20 or so cells and title it, "My trusted friends and associates." I'll link to the X and some local business I know and trust.

Thats great. So if we need a pc built, we can use you. We need a New Drafting computer..

Needs a ton of everything.. Ram, Vid.. Stupid Acad's.

I will have to see the requirements and then pm you. :veryhappy:

Oh I know Acads requirements! Very high although they promised to settle down a bit and stop killing their customers with minimum requirements. Meaning anything you built recently or build now should last a long time.

They were brutal the last couple of years though. Made some IT people pretty mad.....

I haven't fully decided on if and to what extent I am going to do out of state business yet. I don't want any angry customers if something breaks and it takes 2 weeks to get it taken care of. I have some thinking to do about this part of the biz.

Yes! Nice specs! This is where I crush my competitors. I could design, build, deliver and install a better machine for 1/2 the price...roughly.

Here ya go: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/e...19-307907-296721-3718645-3718646-3937795.html

Xeon quad-core 3.2Ghz 8mb cache 1333mhz memory, 8gb RAM (and you can upgrade to 192GB!!!), 450gb 15,000rpm hard drive, Nvidia video card with 1.5Gb RAM, etc etc.

Oh, almost $7000 too.

I have no clue what acads requires, just happened to see that the other day since I buy HP desktops/laptops at work.
:Eyecrazy:

I just got a X2 3.11Ghz 800mhz memory, 2gb ram, & nvidida 9600gto 756Mb ram @ 1600mhz for only $300. Not quite as fast as the aforementioned, but still a screamer.

I have to figure out this out of state stuff. I am a member of onforce.com and they are a group of oncall techs nationwide.....I could use them to run my service calls...but I really like doing everything myself which would leave mail in warranty only. Which would not be bad as long as my customers kept my original shipping box.

And just some totally unrelated FYI's:

webhostingpad.com is hard to beat. 3 years with domain name was 107.00 and they were running a special even cheaper than that yesterday.

And easy thumbnails 3.0 from fookes.com is AWESOME for one click resizing and renaming of these high res photos that all of our cameras now take..
