on my FX1 sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldnt.....id be dead in the water in the middle of the basin in Havasu punching the poop out of the start/stop......than boom it would work out of nowhere.

dam gremlins...... my problem was the start/stop..........

could be you got unlucky with 2 start/stops but i kinda doubt that.....could be a relay......... are your grounds ok???

If it's only in salt make sure you put dielectric (non-conductive) grease on the top of your plugs under the plug caps. Do not put it on the tip where the connection is. A tiny bit of salt water can get under the plug caps and short all that precious spark to the base of the plug.

I had a slow leak, rode in salt water which leaked in and the salt water splashed around. Someone told me the above info. Rinsed out the the plug caps and plugs with a bottle of water and dryed them out. Ran like a champ after that.

Re-apply the grease every few rides.
