interest in oldschool style resonators

i'm gauging the interest on these resonators. This was made to go with the pjs pipe on my 750, but it can fit in anything else. It weighs roughly the same as a jetcraft turbomuff. The smaller part is 2" and the bigger is 3". it is filled with stainless steel wool and is threaded for a water inlet, or can be plugged. Would people buy something like this?

I could also make something like the jetcraft turbomuffs for 2" exhaust hose where they were originally 1.75" if i am correct.

Some of the guys putting 951's into standups are using resonators to help keep'em quiet. I sold one of my coffman's resonators to someone putting a 951 in hydro hull. I think they were going to change the inlet/outlet of resonator to 2 1/4 though. The coffman resonator uses internal louvers and water injection, not expanded metal and steel wool.

Those resonators were made for early 750s with wrap around "mod" pipes that bypassed the stock waterbox. Remember that the old 750 already had a big muffler/resonator built into the aft hull. These little add-ons (with water injection) kept the noise tolerable. They are absolutely worthless as a stand alone muffler.

I ran a turbomuff on my 750SX, it sounds GREAT! It's the one Jett is running now. If you guys make a turbomuff still I'd buy one. With 2" inlet/outlet. I'll buy it after I hear it anyway, haha. Turbomuff sounds awesome.

Spiral louvers inside, no steel wool, do that and they will sell because the sound is awesome and they are super light/bulletproof. Mine weighs 1.5lbs where the stock waterbox is 5lbs.

X-Metal's box is light, but too damned loud at all rpms. My Jetcraft is only loud right at take off, it's just about normal levels while riding as you can tell from the video.

Could you make a really small on to quiet down a x-metal box? If so, and it was easily removed/replaced I could see a market for it.
