don't worry, he'll get enough practice eventually. the first time I hit surf it caught me a little off guard too, but I got used to it after a few minutes of getting rolled by the waves...lol

H20, lol, why did you have to wait to post that until I became totally burnt-out at pretending I was a mean boy throwing rocks at the other boyz? It’s so unjust!

He will get it! He’s a good rider with a determined attitude regarding anything he sets his mind to do. Someone please explain the techies about starting the ski in an inch of water and sand though, for he wouldn’t listen to me, lol. I saw many other first timers doing the same thing on the north end.

Great vid (as are all your others)! He will appreciate it next year, lol!

Have any of you guys tried to ride a 550, narrow, short, handle bad and with a 701 prolly top heavy, anyone would strugle in surf with that unless they had a lot of time on a 550. I saw that boat and I comend him for his ingenuity, it was a tight fit

Yeah, I saw alot of that on the north end, too.
Next year, I'm bringin' alot of extra wear rings....($$$$)

I luv this guy to death, but I might just have to get Beachjunkey to edit up my vid of his second attempt out there (he attacks his pole in anger when he can't get it to crank...I hope I have that part...his gf and I were cracking up at his lil temper tamp...he has severe ones)!

i used to own a 750 sx.... it would do that to me all the time.

Yammi's! Never owned a kawi (might "acquire" two though...if I bother to mess with it), but I did see that white one. I need a ski chopped about half the size of what evb else rides honestly. I can only imagine then!

OH I am sure that will spark up something haha Glad you had fun loving the pic's. Have you ever rode a vintage ski like that ? they don't weigh much.
