Pierre Maixent on Malone's ski

he was trying to show people different aspects of the ski (that's how I saw it) so he could sell a few... I think people expect to see him doing a 2 min routine everytime he rides... it's just not the case

I talked to him for a few minutes, he was having some issues with the EME 800. He had a 1000 cc in it with a MSD and wasnt firing on the front cylinder. We all know how gremlins can kill a good riding day for us. Oh yeah, nice blonde hair by the way. j/k

X-
Flatwater OR surf, Malone's unbelievably talented. He was amazing in Ft Walton on the 2000 Nat. Tour.
Slutty - did you get to ride his ski? What was it like? How did it handle in the surf with all that motor?

I declined because I don't need to know.... I will never own a ski like that...

Seriously though, it was kicking everyone's asses... I just didn't want to be another casualty....

I talked to Taylor Curtis after he rode it and he said it was too much for the surf. I personally rode the 800cc in havasu and it handled completely differently than any other stand up I've ridden, I looked like a first timer trying to turn. Not to bash it at all just saying its a different ski and it takes different technique to ride around.
that's just my .02

Some people may not remember why Eric doesn't ride hard anymore. He broke his wrist snowboarding in the winter of 2006-2007. It was a type of break that doesn't heal back to what it was and that you don't want to break again.

He was the best and won flatwater more than anyone. How about a fond memory of winning at the WF in 2006:

One of the greatest performances ever.

I knew there was something here about the wrist injury. I did a search here for:
malone wrist snow
I found this announcement about the wrist injury:

That's why I posted the 2006 video. Before the injury he was the best and shows what that PWC can do.

The really ironic is what happened to Eric and Joe Kenney were not from riding PWCs. Go 20 feet in the air doing a BF and no problems. Other things in life you're screwed.
