So how do you like that Honda? I was reading that they actually make decent trail bikes. It's a bit older than I'd like, but it would be cheaper.....

Yeah its your typical Honda four stroke .pretty much bulletproof, not powerful but plenty of usable torque,I must like them I have had one since high school and bought this one and one more for a parts bike.I have a ported head and White Bros cam to make this one extremely fast if I ever decide to go that route.

which one?

there is a 450 exc (4T), a 250 exc (2T), and a 300 ( not sure if his is a MXC or EXC ) (2T) in that group.

what you get depends on what you want to do with it and where you are riding. it's all about having the right tool for the job.

So the 250 exc is street legal-able? That's probably what I need for poking around in the woods. I still haven't ruled out that trials bike in New Smyrna, but the owner hasn't answered any questions yet.

250EXC is a great bike... look up some reviews on it online... no one says a bad thing about it... It is so light and very easy to ride...

a company in New Zealand had one out a few years ago...it was a full Ti frame with a stroked 50motor in it...it was like 12gs but i saw some vid on it and it looked sick.. first things first, if you get that thing ditch the tires and probably the fork right off the bat

edit: i guess thats the same company..they have changed them a bit it looks like
i rode that one around the car park at my cousins shop. he helped do some development work on them when they were first starting out . it was pretty impressive and very very light . they are made here in my home town .
if you do wont any more info on them gdfl i can prob get the number for the guy that started the company or get any info that you would like on them

Thanks. I'd probably consider one, but the guy can't even give me a clue within 3 months when one might be available. I'm still on the wait list, but I doubt it would pan out. The Derbi DH 2.0 looks pretty sweet too, but I can't go to a dealer and buy either one right now.
