well, I bent the collar back to its original location and then made a new stopper area at the neck. I hope to have a custom billet steering made for it in the near future .
BTW, you really gotta to try this set up Lee...I bet it would be a blast to ride on an 08 hull cause you could lean it way over in the turns without sliding:arms:

didn't have a chance to put it on a scale but I can positively tell you that it weighs less than the oem hood and handlepole
