Maybe fuel would be more willing to televise an event that has MX on the beach and Freestyle in the surf... They already have MX shows... so they would not be making an "extreme" change... Just a thought.... This would also allow them to test the water and see what response they get....

that would be sick! fmx on the beach and free ride in the surf................cool idea.

only problem would be the bikes ridding on the beaches...if its only allowed in specific beaches...........

haha yea that would go over real well....you realize we are pretty much hated by EVERY other watersport and environmentalists....lets add extreme beach erosion to the list of things they hate about us...and as ive said before, even if we did get in the xgames or on tv all the time and thousands of people started riding we would be shut down in no time....no more surfriding no more freestyle in your local lake....i do think some exposure is good obviously but look how freestyle motocross ruined that sport..riding areas are getting shut down all over the place and now every idiot with a clapped out rm125 with black plastics and some knee high black socks thinks hes brian deegan..i dont see what good that did for motocross.....and you guys do realize what we do is illegal right??

:haha: :loser:

i dont really think frestyle RUINED really anything....areas have been getting shut off forever. i think they have made a stupid image that is like a following that makes you not even wanna drive around with your bike in the back of your truck to be stereo typed as a "bro"....

ive never heard of beach erosion.....wouldnt the tide just fix that???

therereally isnt "bros" in surfridding in the first place so i dont think surf ridding will go that extreme^^^

they will use any excuse to shut us down...

and thats what im saying, before every idiot drinking a sparks malted energy beverage in his double wide trailer in san bernadino had easy access to watching moto it was a clean cut sport..it was about racing not who was brandishing the latest in knuckle tattoos and gold teeth..im just saying be careful what you wish for..being on tv brings all kinds of new people into the sport like it did for moto which isnt always a good thing

see you have to relize this too. for all of us young guns we are developing in a world full of brand names, tattoos and individualization (if thats a word). the upcoming xtreme sports are not JUST about the tats, clothing, metal, gear. its also about the riding. some guys might look like freaks to others or social outkasts (metal Mulisha) but they throw down harder, balls to the wall the most of the people out there. when i see a guy all thrashed out i expect hes going big.

I know they did some fmx on the beach and some freestyle in ramped (eric malone vid). I think it was like in mexico tho.... Hmmm I know in jersey in wildwood they have huge beaches they even have monster truck shows on the beach... Not sure how good the surf is there.. Maybe some jersey boys can chime in...

this sports a dino though. its also far from an instant gratification learning curve. being seen just makes the kooks crawl out from the woodwork.
