Okay its not quite done, this is the prototype and it will be finished up Friday, really all thats left is to have it welded and drill and tap for some bolts. As you can see I am using a BMX bike stem which means you now have an unlimited amount of options for mounting the bars, that includes fat bars, set backs, forward mounts etc. By loosening two bolts the height is easily adjusted to suit different riders, take six bolts loose and it can go from forward mount to setback in a matter of minutes. This means that like the standup guys you can now move your weight and pivot point on the ski to suit your riding style.Go to the link below to look at your mounting options on Bike stems, click on bmx parts then click on headsets & stems, each link takes you to an Ebay page or click the very bottom link on the page to go directly to the listings on Ebay!

The top hole will be tapped and two button head 10mm bolts will go in,one from each side pretty much like the UMI setup, the bottom hole will get one long 10mm bolt with an acorn nut on the back side.

looks sweet, but very tall. you said you can adjust down, but wont there be a large section above the bar mounts to impale yourself on?

either way good work guys

You just cut down to desired height.

Exactly, takes a few seconds with a cutoff saw or a few minutes with a hack saw.I added about an inch to the height on mine.Better to be too long than too short at least thats what the old lady told me!

See the length of time between these two posts ,that is the amount of time it took to walk out there, grab the tools, adjust the steering down 1 inch, install the bar pad, snap a picture, download it to the comp and come back here and make this post, now either its easily adjustable or I am mfing Speedy Gonzalez! How exactly you can impale yourself on that post I am not exactly sure but yeah you would have to be doing something pretty stupid to do so if you ask me.

Kewl beans,I should have some units to buy for people without cores but the price will have to go up to accommodate the cost I paid for the cores.
