haha i was laying in bed last night thinking about what i could be making at my college, just finished machine shop. I have access to all the tools you do minus the water blaster. how do you bore the nozzle? and i was thinking about making a handle pole or some bling on my trailer.

you can chuck it up in a lathe and cut into this part...the part the plastic bolts on to. and mine is alredy bored

aight, i was gunna make it for right underneath my carb unlike the ones for yamis that are right off the block because my carb needs to clear the resonater thing so up is better than out. And i only have access to a mikuni sbn carb(i think the 44 and 46mm have the same base) and i think dual kehin 38's, or what ever is stock on a '95 kawi 750. if you wanna send me a picture with dimmensions of what you want i could probly get sumthin made.:beerchug:

Been there done that.. its not worth my time. Once you get out of class you will see what I mean.
I have made hundreds one of a kind, not just for jet skis... do a search.
Im about to attempt to make my own hand pole. I have a Lathe and a AC Tig here at my shop behind my house. I have access to a full machine shop here at work.
Lot of people on the X are good fabricators and machinest.

The biggest thing about machining is setup some people get real creative with fixtures and four jaw's and alway's alway's check spindle speed.

haha yeah well if we are talking a nozzle boring job in a lathe then first of all the lathe has to have the clearance to swing it I have bored nozzles in my lathe with lot's of swing room and I use a four jaw. like I had mentioned earlier setup is most of the time in machining. then we can talk taper's and threading but I would rather not get into that trying to type an explanation lol
