Wow, went from top closed/middle closed/bottom 1/2+ turn open to top closed/middle closed/bottom 1/16-1/8 turn, and wow, it really lit up even more than it was.

I think the next step on my engine would be better carbs than my taperbored 44's, but I don't see them in my budget anytime soon with the topdeck conversion in progress.

very interesting... i was under the impression the less water the better, but apparently not in your case.

i've wanted to experiment with my bottom screw more, but I have only played with the top.

1/16-1/8 turn over 1/2 turn would be less water

The screw adjustments on mine seem to make a pretty noticeable difference. The middle one made the worst power all the way around. I keep it closed now but it was the only one open when I started. My bottom one is set at 1/4 turn and that seems to give the best all around power and certainly the fastest top speed. Closing it more may add a bit but I am hesitant to try even tho my chamber still doesn't sizzle like they say it should. Opening the top screw 1/4 to 1/2 in addition to this kills the top end some but really makes it hit harder on the bottom. I found having it like this makes it really easy to change the powerband of the ski depending on what type of riding I am going to do.
