300/440/550 stroker crank

I could be wrong but can't you put a Kawi 750 crank in the 650 cases. That would be 6mm +. For that matter why not just put a 750 engine in.

And it's not just as simple as stroking the crank. There are porting issues, squish clearance issues, prop issues...and more. You looking for more performance as cheaply as possible? Run a thicker base gasket or run 2 base gaskets and adjust your head to get you compression back.

Use 750 small pin crank, 650 cases, 750 cylinder(mill off sleeve skirts), and 650 head cut .050 for compression. Use a thicker base gasket for squish clearance.

No friend, i have built one. Unfortunately, when the machine shop milled off the skirts, they shaved too much of the cylinders. I should have done it myself, i work at a machine shop. The pistons touched the head at high rpms. When you are turning about 9000 rpm the impact will trash the motor. I got a few good runs out of it though. It would run with my brothers sxr. That engine is one bad mo fo. I am scraping together some cash to get the crank redone.

If you want bottom end with this engine, use dual side drafts. It is alot of power and the closest thing to the 800 with out spending 3 grand for an engine. Find a 650 b pipe and i could make the water box that i have for you.
