Hello, looks like a great way to spend the next weekend with the west systems epoxy repairing or you could go retro and turn your rn into a square nose. Letting go is a very last resort.
I never let go when I bail, and I’ve bailed a lot! The last time my ski got away from me it was ripped from my cold hard hands with the grips still in my hand. That same day I also ordered ODI’s! I’ll take a 15’ under rotated BF pancake any day over losing my ski and not knowing if it’s going to lawn dart me in the gut or the spine! Still not convinced? Just PM Matt Smith and ask him about his experience with an inverted- shove it- take it in the Liver throw away!

the last time i fell off my 550 b4 i got the lanyard i was lucky to get the ski back. i made it a habit of holding on but that time the grip came off and it kept going. it actually managed to circle back to me though
bailing in 6 inches of water sucks too. :dunce:I bail if I think I am gonna hit bottom hard (thats pretty often where I ride. It's shallow)
Madmat does the same thing...7 or 8 feet of air in 6 inches of water is just B A D.
