They are calling for 25 ft waves and 17-20 ft storm surge at Galveston Island... Conditions will be similar all along the coast from Galveston to Corpus Christi...
I evacuated from Harbor Island, TX yesterday and I was planning on hooking up with penguin and quickmick, but we got evacuated today to San Antonio... We went from the Hilton... to this roach motel we are in now! Argh... wish I had a ski to go ride atleast...

Anyone in the San Antonio area want to hang out show me around I'll buy the drinks... I am gonna be stuck here till Sunday at the earliest...

Just talked to my friend Bradden again. He said the surf was around 20ft yesterday, and 25ft + today in some areas. yeehaw! :bananalama:

I'm planning on it... kinda gonna watch to see what the surf report looks like. but I think it's definite.

we have not booked a room yet though... i might be camping out in my truck... LOL

I have a feeling someone is full of bs if they said they are riding in the surf today or yesterday at Galveston. No way authorities are going to let a jetskier get anywhere near the surf today.
