i find it hard to beleave $50,000/player on top of free everything for the team.
i played 6years ago for PBK. This was when xball was the noob in the tourry scean, but knew it took off big. i'v just been out for to long... still 50,000 WTF am i doing trying to get a real job for.

Yeah seriously, to hell with all this working stuff. I've got a good buddy of mine who gets paid to travel around and play paintball. I'll have to ask him what he's actually pulling in. It's just a part time thing for him, but I know they pay his transportation, room and board, plus pay him some too. I don't think it's anywhere near $50,000 a show!! I would think you'd about have to be the biggest and best out there to pull down $50K just to play. Then again I know absolutely nothing about the sport. If you can do that, more power to you brother!

One of my best friends played pro paintall a couple years ago and they covered his gear, rooms, food etc but they sure as ******** werent paying anywhere near 50k

wow not sure paintball should be called that.. with it being the 3rd most extream sport in the world... anyway this is a pwc forum i was just trying to make a point.. gil told me about what a pro had to go threw just to get to the nationals and it just rubbed me wrong....

My wife and I loved paintball in 2000. Then a bunch of 12 year olds took the place over, talking shiot, turning their guns up hot, shooting you multiple times at point blank range if they could, cheating any way they could. I wanted to turn them over my knee and spank the crap out of them, but I knew I would go to jail. So we just sold our guns and quit.

That was my thought too... Watch it on tv and all the guys do is shoot as fast as they can to one side of the barrier and hope the guy pokes his head out. It's cool in the woods but in a closed arena...might as well play laser tag.
