So-I'm in the ATL and on Sunday afternoon ridin w/Paul and Ronny Mac and Ronny decides to show me a real sub-BY GOD!!! He does, for about 20 minutes. He goes down with the ski-BUT-the ski don't come back up. The cool parts was the engine ran forever and the only thing you could see was jet wash from the pump and about 1" of his long azz ride plate. Good news is between the 3 of us the ski made it back to the shore line and was running again shortly there after.

I have read al the threads about sunkin SJ's but never saw it 1st hand. Pretty cool to watch w/it's not your ski. Glad it was saved.

Yeah, it's been a 'interesting' year to say the least. LOL The cool part is-all the ski's are alive, no major damage, no bodily harm. (well-almost-I think Ronny lost a lung trying to swim a 600lb superjet to shore, an dPaul busted a ear drum rollin my ski).

No Lamey 'long subs', Ronny was on his ski (701 in Stoyer's old hull).

It took him 2 trys. Attempt #1=no set up wake, just hop and roll=head slap.
Attempt #2, no set up wake, pre hop and slung the hell out of the ski and pulled it off.

water's not as light as one would think. swimming in a bobbing ski is extremely tiresome
