It looks like there are a lot of requests for different x-h2o stickers. Now that you have a shopping cart for t-shirts, maybe you can carry some stickers in a couple popular sizes (6" horizontal, 12"-18" horizontal, vertical for pole) and colors (white or black)...

Keep the cost reasonable but profitable to help keep the X running .

I hope the t-shirt sales are going OK.

Selling/shipping stuff is not exactly a fun thing, plus I'm not making any money off it. Northgraphics handles the stickers, he sells them, and can do them in any size/color you want.

If I were to sell them, I still have to get them made so the vinyl guy has to make some profit, then we have to profit too, it would actually cost you more in the end and be a ton of work for me.

I love it, you can call BS all you want, I don't make money on this site. The first 2 years we scraped by, then finally I got us on shoppingads and started building the paypal balance, then made the mistake of doing a t-shirt run and the site has lost about $700 because of that.

So you can take your BS flag somewhere else.

Even if you're just joking around, it's not funny and really makes me feel like doing database backups so in case we get hacked again, YOU don't lose your posts after **I** spend hours getting this site running again.

I guess I need to start acting like the negative people on here think I do. I'll start making lots of money from the site, banning people left/right, reading pm's all day long, and being biased to some shop somewhere.

Im sorry for pissing you off. I have a very limited understanding of how to run a business. I just thought you buy a shirt, print on it and then sell it for a profit. I didnt know you were doing charity work and selling them for less than you payed. And then paying all the companies to advertise on your site must be expensive too.:nana:

I will self-ban myself.

You don't have a clue, so you really shouldn't be posting about it then.

The money this site earns pays for stickers for freerides (200 for Daytona, 100 for Lone Star, 100 for Chicken Bone, etc) and food for freerides (Cleveland so far) and the hosting/etc. The more money we can make, the more stuff we can do.

The t-shirts cost $1750 to get printed, plus tyvek envelopes, shipping, labels, Paypal fees, etc. It's around $11/shirt total and selling at $16/shirt is a good deal plus a small fundraiser for the site. However, we've only sold like 75 out of 228, so we're in the red still by quite a bit. We had the potential to earn $1000+ on them, but that's not gonna happen that I can tell.

If I were trying to make money here, I'd be all over stickers, would have done t-shirts A LONG TIME AGO, and you'd see ads all over the place for the stuff.

Also, there are no 'companies' that advertise here, Shoppingads is the main money-maker and Google Adsense makes us like $2/day on a good day since there is little they have that applies to our sport.

Like I said, if you don't know what you're talking about, you shouldn't post about it.

darin,i got my shirt the other day and its even nicer than the pics!thanks for doing it.

dont get down on it,consider it a site investment.it may take longer than expected but they will all sell.they are very high quality and now that there are some out there they will start to sell themselves

you could also consider letting a voulenteer sell some shirts and stickers at the freerides,im sure that would work well also. most people are more apt to pick that kind of stuff up in person on impulse than mailorder.

in fact ill ask my wife if she would be intrested in doing this at daytona this year
