Im gettin ready to start on augustaf's hull.were shooting for 75-85 surf strong hull.the bottom is std legnth but i do have molds of a -3 hull also.the topdeck is a lil modified the nose peice is smoothed into the mold and the pole bracket location is lowered 1in from stock i will get pics up of that shortly.If all goes well i should be laying it up wed nite and vacume bag it.then let it sit in the mold till fri and pull it out and start putting incerts in and squaring the pump,motor,firewall up

Yes im at it again.I think i needed to take a year off riding and regroup Im just finishing up odds and ends for other people that im commited to then im gonna focus on my boat but this one im doin first so i can get it down to Fred then ill start on mine.It will be -3 hull as light as i can get it.

just a lil update been waxing this mold to prep it for fri.I plan on laying it up fri.i started cuttin peices of 10oz s glass. thats about all the further i got so far.

just pulled the hull out of the mold today i laid it up fri.i was unshure on what weight i was looking at getting i was thinking on the heavy side.when i was laying it up i was keeping the sides thinner thna the bottom just because i was planning on reinforcing the sides when the top was bonded on but it really doesnt need it i didnt realize the stregnth of s-glass.but i will do a layer of carbon just to be shure.the weight on a bathroom scale was 28lbs and rock solid i couldnt be happier.by the wknd i plan to have the mount and incerts all glassed in place.let me know what you think

I would imagine that he made it (not that hard), or it came from Highroller? Just seems similar thats all.

change of plans i was gonna get the driveline and engine mounted this wk but i wont have the incerts in my hands till next wk so im gonna move on to the topdeck to get that out of the way and also lay up the firewall so thats ready to be trimmed.id like to have the hull out of the way by the end of the month so i can move on to the hood and rideplate and other mis things
