rusty cylinders any good?

Tore my motor down. Found out that the inside of the cylinders had some major rust going on. its stock 84mm bore at the moment. 62T cylinders.

Look at the last picture. Under one of the pistons. I think the previous owner lost a piston and this is the one that only had slight damage, so he reused it. Crank bearings are fine, rods are fine, crank is fine. 2nd piston is like new under it. Signs of previous piston damage to cases are obvious, just scratches nothing major.
I FOUND NO METAL SHAVINGS OR PIECES IN THE MOTOR. NO SCRATCHES IN CYLINDER WALLS EITHER.
YES YOU CAN FEEL THE RUST PITTING, PROLLY .002-.003 DEEP.

Can I get away with same size pistons and just a good hone??

Bore or not to bore?? if so what pistons? Pro-X or Wiseco??

if compression is still good, i'd run it also. i would not take 2 weeks out of prime season to get it fixed up. However if you have another ski, might as well do it. i'd bump up to a ProX at 84.20 or greater

long bad storie short not wammer

I ordered some not to long ago, i need them quick so i only looked East Coast and i found that Atalantic Jet Sports had them in stock and ready to ship out for the lowest price. I payed 87.26 each for the "Kit" (rings, wrist pin, C clips) and got wrist barrings for $15 even and only $10.89 for everything shipped. and it got here quick I highly recommend them.

I put the scotch brite to the cylinders and they cleaned up great, I only found one void from the rust which was approx .005 Dia. and maybe
.003 - .004 deep.

They sould be fine.
Thanks for the info Grif.. will keep em mind unless I come across some on sale.

I wonder if they sell just the crank seals..

many engine builders will tell u "buy OEM crank seals" for motor longevity...some run the WSM....and superjet-113 (Troy) on here sells aftermarket ones for a good price.
