OHIO- skiing at Springfield Lake tomorrow and Sunday.

Hey DJ,
Great to hang out with you guys... the lake was pretty choppy but it was really fun! I'll be back! There was a bad accident on the way home, so I had to re-route to 71... seemed like everyone was having bad luck today but us! was that sunk boat at the ramp when you guys took out?

Yep. I was kind of mad that the coast guard towed them in, but watched my ski sink and wouldn't even signal my friend at the beach.

I heard the accident was a seadoo sitting in the middle of the freeway. It got thrown off of a trailer.

Chris saw it. (ski4) He was on the blue Superjet.

DJ You need to stop in at the CG station, Talk to the officer in charge '' not just a blue shirt ' and ask what is up ? you can at least vent . sounds like you have a legitimate complaint , Just because they are CG does not mean they are without attitude sometimes ! Mabe they will pull you out next time if you bring it to the officers attention that there is a mad taxpayer ??

yeah a guy that was leaving right about when we did, or i did anyhow

a new seadoo and yamaha
the seadoo was parked in the berm and the yami was perpendicular to the trailer with the back end up on the guard rail

the truck was facing north in the southbound


and as for the coastguard, maritime rules are you are to help a boater in need ( unless this doesn't apply cuz their boat has a machine gun). isn't that the reason the CG makes us have fire extinguishers???????? to help others?
