Do any of you notice problems with your knees after rolls that go bad or incomplete, or is this just an old guy thing? I'm going to try switching to surf stance to try and take pressure off my right knee when rolling left, I don't want to end up with permanent damage, kinda need them for a few more years......I hope this goes away when I start making them all the way around.

X2addict was complaining about his hip, and Bitemybag told me he noticed knee issues as well.

I agree, I use to hit my knees together when I would come up short. By the end of the day my knees would be so soar but its all good now that I can make it all the way around

your ither too old or too much of a puss.....those are the only answers IMO...surf stance to start will just make it MOre possible to get hurt.....the landing on that foward leg can break ankle and knee....But what do I knowlol

In my short time in this sport I've seen a lot of people of all ages having bad ankle, hip and knee problems after only a few years of jetskiing. I've watched Stuntbikemike ride live a good bit and he has very good form. Very impressive to watch.

My ankles hurt pretty after riding..but that's because I've broken/spranged each of them several times over. On a good note my chest/shoulders don't hurt from open heart surgery a few years ago.

The first picture is my chest 12 days after surgery. The second picture is my x-ray held up to a light. You can see the tie wraps holding my breast bone together while it healed. I'm just thrilled to still be alive and able to ride with some really good riders on occasion.

Well I can't do much riding after tearing right and left rotator cuff tendons, hips are permanately screwed. . I think the barrell rolls will just finish me off..Maybe I should quit while the knees are still good
Would love to get some real estate back and have a huge parts sale

My ankles bother me sometimes, however I ride surf and think it has more to do with the jarring effect from coming down from a 10' roll than the roll itself. I'm sure it doesn't help that at 44 I'm an old guy too
