It Was briliant! The surf is smaller than normal for this time of year, But was very glassy. This was a good thing as I haven't ridden for a while. A bout mid Auguest we get consistant 8-10" clean glassy waves for a couple of weeks! It is like riding on a big skate board quarter pipe. I will try and get some photos of these monsters with out getting wiped out!

Cheers

Tim

that last photo is my idea of a perfect wave. perfect height, pitching out good, glassy, and breaking south to north (for us at least, maybe north to south for you, or east to west or...). but 66 is not the perfect temp!!

nice shots.

Yeah, that temp is 20 degrees out of your range. BTW- I'm back in. Feel great. Gonna ride this weekend.

waves

I personally like the bigger waves. More adrenaline. Smaller waves are like the kiddy end of the pool. But lately all we have had and will have for some time is kiddy waves so I am jumbing in the kiddy pool and riding on. Small waves are better than no waves for now.
