Best Kawi Freestyle SXR Intake Grate

Simple question - what is the best/preferred Freestyle Intake Grate for the Kawi SXR?

I don't know much about flat water freestyle but the least aggressive is the old single fin worx. Also could try a tbm or skat with the rear out wings cut off.

Single is the way for freestyle though, eh? It is what I run on my SJ. I have never run a triple so I do not know what it would feel like.

you do not want too much grab, or you will have a hard time getting the ski to leave the water. that is the problem with a SXR for freestyle as it is, that is a wet hull, it likes to stay hooked up.

I run the r&d triple scoop on my limited, It hooks ups & brakes awesome.
It's perfect bouy grate. I also really like the 2 scoop skat on my limited. It depends on water conditions.

I tried a worx single scoop on my surf boat and hated it. Not enough hook up.

The grate you use depends on conditions you ride.

I like to stick with my stock intake grate on an SXR for freestyle and freeriding. I can slide it, slash it and spin much easier than my friends similar SXR with an aftermarket grate. I also D cut the stock plate.

It still hooks up better than ANY superjet I've ridden.

...aftermarket isn't always the answer.
