The manufacturing processes probably aren't that much different between a Bayliner and a Grady White either..but which would you expect and be willing to pay more for?
That has absolutely nothing to do with quality..........it is about marketing and creating a myth, which leads to...........I want one of those because everyone else has one of those!
I have a 24' Pantera race boat, which costs a lot less than a Cigarette or a Fountain, but is built as well if not better and can not only keep up, but often beat anything in their 27 to 35 footers in heavy seas.
In both instances, they are two very different handling machines, both are very well constructed, but are totally different.
