well it looks like this may be a paypal dispute. he told me so send him pics and we could work something out, i did and no response... i sent two more messages and he has been active each time along with being active at other times so i know he has got them... i just sent one more and told him that if he doesnt respond and work this out i will be forced to file a paypal dispute. What are the odds that i will get my money back from paypal?

paypal seems to favor the buyer more in situations like this. if you file they will freeze his account for that amount (if he still has the money in there) till it's resolved. if you file you can always cancel it if you resolve it with him. so it's probably better to file sooner then latter that way theres more of a chance of the money still being there.

maybe paypal has changed, but a few years ago, the seller simply had to prove he shipped something.

a tracking number showing delivery, completely absolved them.

yes they have changed. i bought a crank that was in good running condition according to the seller. when i got it it had rust and a couple of the bearings were shot. it took awhile but paypal refunded my money. i also sold a set of damaged cases that i said were damaged in the description and even took pictures of the damage,and sold them as is (damaged). they sold for $30 on ebay the guy who got them filed a claim against me saying they were damaged. He won the claim.:shrug:

the pistons are 1.5 over, i am not sure what the bore is though, i can take a peak once im out of class, he did just respond to me.... dont know what he is going to try and do... just from memory though i think std bore is 76mm so im guessing 77.5 one is absolutely not usable, the other has scoring on it and i guess light grit sand paper can fix it but i have no clue, this is my first experience with something like this

There must be another member out there that lives close to him and knows him.Windsor has a lot of riders I'm sure, so maybe that individual should consider talking to the seller . Has anyone sent him a link to this thread .
Maybe this thread should be posted on pwc in the hopes of getting something resolved. As always I don't know both sides but if you were led down the garden path Hope fully he will realize it is in his best interest to make it right

I also got screwed on an fx1 blowsion light weight hood I was purchasing off ebay. Soon as it arrive and I started to pull this boat anchor wrapped in an old sleeping bag out of it's box I new something was wrong.It was a stocker with 2 hand hole and lots of extra glass.What a joke!!!!! But we did get get a good laugh out of for weeks.
Paypal refuded quickly

since the cylinder is pretty good and just needs a very light hone i am going to keep it and he is gonna give me a partial refund. glad thing seemed to have worked out. now, who has some 1.5mm over kawi pistons? or where can i get them CHEAP

wasnt it more the fact that you were stereotyping Canadian's saying they are ALL Crooks, or words to those effects??? I know of a few Canadians that I would much rather deal with than some here form the US. you want to know the difference between people of the US and Canada? The Canadians live in Canada.... they got Assholes just like we do..........
