My driveshaft looks awesome, the guy who did it said its perfectly balenced and trued up. I got the motor mounts moved back and my bed plate drilled, i just need to rem the holes out more. I should be riding tomorrow and all this weekend, i was wondering how many tanks of gas to run though it before i open it up, i put new rings in this winter.

the way that the drivshaft was done was that it was after it was cut it was center bored on both sides. then it was pinned. it was tig welded on 4 sides the re welded 3 in three layers. i thought that was interesting

Well today was the day, i put my ski in around 11:30 in the 45 degree water and rode it for the first time after doing all my work. I have to say i love it, moving the motor back made a great deal of differrence, it is nice and bouncy and the front end loves to come up. That prop is awesome too, its a 10/18 large hub c-75 from skat-trak, it hooks up really nice, where the stock one would miss this one picks up and eats the water im very happy with it. The sponsons i put on made a differnce as well, the ski carves so hard now and the back end dosent slide around. My ada head and domes gave me a huge boost from stock and it rips off the line, i cant amagin it when i put the trim on and run it full throttle. Thanks for all the help from everyone.

the hood let in any water today??

I am getting a little bit, i just need to fiber glass that back box off so it dosent shoot water out where it has the small space and stuff, its not a big deal it hasnt effected performance at all just leaves a little bit of water in the hull, nothing a duck bill or bildge pump can even suck out so its not that much. I would do it to yours, make it sound great when your riding, you will have to ride it Will it has so much power. You'll also have to ride Mikes superjet it will surprise you.
