I gotcha, somewhere near High Port Marina maybe?
http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/pwdpubs/pwd_br_l2000_0001/Every motorboat towing a person must have an observer, other than the operator, 13 years of age or older OR be equipped with a rearview mirror of a size no less than four inches (4") in measurement from bottom to top and across from one side to the other.
great... you have us staying at an evacuated EPA Superfund siteoke: Probably just a funding thing. Seems they are always closing some site or another.
My kids are pretty cool generally, sometimes my son has a BIT too much to drink and gets violent, but he is only 11 so its easy to put him in his place.
be sure you wear your life jacket in case you fall in :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:I'd rather everyone not see my big white ass when I go to get rid of solid waste, thanks. :icon16:
EDIT: Knowing my luck, someone would take a picture of it. Someone got me taking a piss just over the dune at the LSFR. They thought it looked rather funny.
So, we're talking about 2nd weekend - 13, 14, & 15 of June, or 4th weekend - 27, 28, & 29? Anybody else have dates to avoid besides Penguin and Kawtipper?
Larry, make a poll to add to your thread!
J/K, well, maybe not. :scratchchin:
My 91 Seadoo XP is good at pulling our tube.
It's only a 2 seater, but a 'loophole' in our state laws allow us to pull a tube on a ski that's only got 1 person, as long as the ski has mirrors.
Texas has the same 'loophole', so it looks like we're bringing our tube.

hhhmmmm.. two f-12x's and an STX-12F. time for the bouy course. Just need Mick's Blaster and we have a good time lined up.
either date would be good - but I'm thinking the earlier might be better so some people that may be going to both Texoma and possibly the Ozarks ride would have a weekend off in between.
it's a loophole, but you don't qualify. I believe the mirrors must be 4" tall in order to use a 2 seater as a tow boat, and no PWC has mirrors that big.
and I could bring the big honkin Polaris...maybe not
yep - I was looking for it at the same time you were.a weekend in between WOULD be nice.
and the law says mirrors 4" x 4" I think.
whats the age limit to legally ride there?
12 years old?
EDIT - found it 13, dang.
