is it gay to put a number on it if you don't race???
Some guy named Edwin Rivera has some numbers on his bike but not really sure if he actually gay. I know he likes little boys though. :rocketwhore: Welcome back RMRM

I got a little tale for you boys.
My hubby once bought a go kart. We're not talking little toy kart, we're talking 50-60 mph (supposedly) race go kart. He told me he spent like $700 bucks for it. He played with it for a while, raced it a little, finally decided he was done with it and sold it for $1400 bucks. (notice I still remember the prices after around 20 years)
Now, the ducky ain't stupid. I may not have researched it when he bought it, I just believed him. Until he sold it for double what he paid. Then things got real interestin'. Turns out he paid considerably more for it than he told me - more like $1200. Still a good deal, right, but not what he told me.
Well, the poop hit the fan and it took a LONG time to clear - we're talkin' a decade or so. It's one of the very few things that I still bring up to this day. I'm just not one to hold a grudge or bother with dredging up old junk, water under the bridge most of the time. There's no point in not moving on.
It wasn't the price he paid. I probably woulda b!tched a little, but I never could say no to him on something he really wanted. He's always been one to work overtime to pay for toys or sell something else, or whatever it takes to still pay the bills.
It was the LIE that was the issue. That not so little white lie was a HUGE issue!
He's still known to occasionally buy a little something without telling me, no big deal, just as long as he doesn't deny it when I spot the new bling or whatever.
But DON'T EVER LIE to me about things. My only absolutely hard and fast rule in our relationship other than the obvious, don't sleep with anybody else, type stuff.
Just a little info for you boys, not to rain on your parade or anything, but just keep it in mind as I suspect other women feel similarly.
Don't you need turn signals for it to be street legal?
Nick. I know a guy that knows a guy.. I can get you some Rad guards for it for around $40. about half what they sell for.
I'll get you a shopping list for it when you are ready. MOst of the goodies are bike armor. make sure you get the satchel and books and tool kit.
