SXR ride plate and scoop options

I am going to upgrade my ride plate and intake grate on my stock 800 soon. I am not sure what i want to go with. I've heard that Jet-D is the best for mad, shoulder-dragging hookup, especially since I am a big rider (6'7", 235 lbs). I mostly use my 800 on flat water, since it's such a cruiser. (I keep my 750 for wake-jumping abuse cuz of the footholds, pipe, carb, and prop). So I was hoping some of you could give me an objective comparison on the various ride and scoop options. Thanx

You heard wrong, boy.

TBM is the last word on SX-R rideplates - Period.

Period.

Next question.

The TBM is a great plate. Honestly I have tried most of them out there, for racing the TBM was the only plate that performed better than stock. If you like to carve and cruise up the lake the TBM is a great plate. If you want to ride around, jump wakes, spins, slides, the TBM is too aggressive.

who is the master, leroy?! :starwars: TBM ride plate then, good enough. but what about scoop grates???

Oh you are the man!

For your intake, I've got a Worx WR222 on one ski, a TBM on the other.

That being said, get the R&D Aquavein Stealth Pro. :Banane09:
