WELL IT ALL STARTS WITH THIS 04 SUPERJET BOUGHT IT STOCK EXEPT THE BLOKE PAINTED IT SAID HE DID NOT LIKE THE SALT MARKS ON THE BLACK SKI WHEN HE RODE:banghead:
I AINT REALLY IN TO THE COLOUR BUT BY THE END OF THE BUILD IT MAY GROW ON ME OTHERWISE IT WILL BE PAINTED

4 in order from right to left mine yellow,the 2000 i just sold blue,a mates 97 white(chris that is the guy who wanted your black trim)white, and another mates wcf square conversion black green orange there is also a couch outside i bought at christmas for the hand brake(wife)
as far as the colour i just want a plain ski no stickers exept the rego i aint advertising for anyone that dont give me anything maybe a little x-h20 decal this place has taught me a s#@t load

crab i didnt grind it upside down but i still looked like i had been rolled in flour after i had finished that and sanding the inside is about the only part of a build that i hate

I meant laying the epoxy up under the pole bracket and nose area, the fumes linger when your head is in there working.

right we are on track i am trying to get this on the water in a month i have been busy sanding this morning i layed up the under side of the pole bracket 3 layers of carboni have leart a little trick for cutting carbon so as not to get a ruff edge i hope this helps some guys out and it is acyually real easy and not as messy
make up your templates out of plastic and mark them in numerical order of the lay up then get a big sheet of plastic ruff cut your carbon about an inch bigger than you template lay that on the plasticpour your resin on the carbon brush it around a little then fold the rest of the plastic over the top then squeege the resin in to the carbon and then squeegee the exess out to the sides place your template over the top and mark and cut out then peal one side off lay the carbon in the desired location and then peel the outside layer of i only used this for one template under the bracket to see if it works and no salvage edge i probably should have done the top layer like this but i didnt wait till the sides ars done and you will see the neat edge

i am hoping all my stuff arrives next week i have ordered everything i need from kevin at legdrag he is the man :arms:
and i am hoping my footholds get here any day now the hull is of to paint on friday night so i have some late nights this week ahead of me :banghead:
tom (superramjet) is out here in oz working at the moment and has offered to give me a hand with the turf so i am super exited after i looked at the turf job on his octane build :bananapowerslide: :Banane19:

ok guys i have been really busy but i have got heaps done i have foot holds in reinforcement done and paintdone now i am just waiting on my order from legdrag so i can get this sucker finished i hope to be on the water this weekend.
we have had tom(superramjet) and mark(not sure of his username) over here in australia we went riding last weekend was really fun we had good surf tom through down some nice rolls and mark through the biggest backflip attemt i have seen and bailed very amusing i am pretty sure they enjoyed going out for a drink afterwards as well
i will get some pics tomorrow i am so happy with the colour

I can't wait until the day comes where I can afford to ride in Australia. And until I have the skill level to really make use of the big surf.

Keep the ski yellow man! Get an exotic signs graphics kit. Something to really get the ski some attention.

Or the kanga with a lefty would be sweet. But if thats the case the flag in the background should be Canadian.

The paint turned out really well, its a color thats on the new holden utes, a green that we don't normally see. It's going to be a nice build, he has it mostly built but just hasnt kept up with the pics. these guys have a beautiful ride spot, hope to ride it once more before i leave.
