Wow, piclens is awesome.

Install it, then when you do a Google Image Search or go to a Flickr, Photobucket, etc etc gallery, there will be a small play button on the image. You click that and it opens the pictures in piclens. Trying to find a picture of something on GIS just got tons easier.

It's pretty sweet, that's what it is. Only works on some sites, but most of the major ones are covered. I think I need to explore some more plugins for FF, this is my first one.

adblock is always the first plugin that gets installed for any new computer.

I don't use it anymore, the sites I go to nowadays really aren't heavy on annoying ones, so no need.

I think the coolest part of Piclens is dragging the slider at the bottom while on Google Image Search, you can just scan through pics so fast, very nice.

it SUCKS my taint.

I downloaded and installed it.

it rebooted ( firefox AND my machine)

and then it showed the initial demo website, looked NICE.

then I went to the X and it locked up and firefox exited abriptly, about 7 times in a row.

so I disabled piclens.

I will try to use it again when I have time to figure out why it doesnt want to play nicely with the other applications on my machine.

EDIT
It works on my work machine.

of course
