The Official Waterdawg Kustomz Technical Thread

Alot can depend there as to materials used etc. . . . I bought mine as an unfinished project and not directly from Jeff. At that time I was told Jeff would charge $15,000 to build another one. But Im geussing that would include motor, tank, pole basically everything to complete. I believe the REV is typically in the $5K neighborhood hull/hood He did have them on sale for $3K though. His site lists the F1PRO as $3800 I have no idea what layup that would consist of though

My Rev shipped out 2 days after I ordered it and got there in less than a week total from west coast to chicago.

It was a fun boat to build because everything lines up so well. Their finish work, in my opinion, is fantastic. I only painted color onto the gelcoat and simply buffed the gel-coatout and it came out great.

Overall I was very pleased with the service and the quality of my hull and would def reccomend this as an aftermarket hull.

It rides very light and reacts quick. Its def an agressive hull that is built tough and rolls easily.

I had a few very hard flat landings in daytona and it held up like a tank.

its a nice piece of equipment and for the price you cant help but own one.

the price listed on the website if for a wet layup fiberglass hull...no pre-preg

I talked with jeff for a bit yesterday.....There are FIVE f1 hulls in existence...

I am 100x more exited about this one than I was the REV

I am going to put the 701 wetjet motor in mine, and the 800 motor in my REV as per JEff's recommendation..however he is still making the pipe so it'll fit both ski's... :bananalama:

Yeah I heard about the carbon one the other day through a guy that called about my SN for sale I had a SN up for sale for 1000 guy emails and offers $500 I tell him to F*&$ (&^% Well turns out hes buddies with Jeff. Not that I really give a damn but he claims hes gonna tell Jeff on me :poke:
Cause I was rude to him HA HA Long story short that gentleman an I had a nice discussion turns out he claimed to have alot of time on a carbon F1. But hes still not getting my SN for $500 LOL

yeah I know I shouldnt have told him to F off but if youve ever sold anything through craigslist around here you understand. I had gotten several retarded offers on a few things and started kinda answering emails on pissed off auto pilot but anyway yeah 5 HUH.

OH HEY I JUST REMEMBERED!!!!

For any on a budget that are really interested in the F1 PRO hull style (bolt in SJ pump + SJ intake) I had talked to Jeff right before I bought this about just getting the top and bottom deck from him then completing the build with parts from my existing FX1. I believe last we talked this was mentioned to be $12-1500 wet-layup. (call for pricing) Im not sure but I believe the pump may have been setback 2inches in this configuration as well. Considering the cost of a Blowsion drop in pump and still having a small intake tunnnel that was the route I was going to go. But something came up!

The REV is awesome, the F1 is awesome, hell I am still in love with the Xjet. I would like to be able to afford any of them. I tried trading Mile9 my complete '06 for his F1 in boxes but he wasnt diggin it. Someday I plan on swapping my driveline into a REV. Maybe after getting my FX1 up and running it will convince me to go the F1pro route instead.

That looks like the one for his REV hood mounting setup with the spring loaded pins.

they sure look like it, but they are not in the right location...they'd have to be a bit higher up on the bracket..

Ive never seen one like that either....I have 2 of the shiny silver billet ones and they both have spring slots..

jeff will handle it for you, no question..
