I almost hope it snows to see you ride in it...
Snowboarding costs a lot more than $40 -50 if you don't have your own gear and a season pass. My local resort when I lived in WV charged $25 for 5-9 PM lift & rental on a Wed night. It was the best deal around and the only time I went. Otherwise I would buy lift tickets off of ebay where people had won them on a radio station or a mall giveaway. Snowshoe Mountain Resort in WV is one of teh nicest places around but it costs way too much $$$ and you stand in lines at the lifts on weekends. Once you have your own board/gear and a season pass, it doesn't cost all that much. It is like anything else, getting into the sport is expensive but once you have the tools/gear/equipment it isn't all that bad. You get used to the cold. Plus with all your snow gear on, you don't even notice it. If you are having fun, you would ski/board in a blizard in negative temps and love every min of it! But yeah, cold and no snow... sucks!
