Why is a an FX1 so loud?

My wifes Fx1 with total stock exhaust is louder than my superjet with a Pipe and stock water box.

why are they so loud?!

my FX1 is loud kinda too i think its because it hardly has any sound dentining like the the newer skis...but idk thats only my guess...i have a factory pipe waterbox and a protec F-1 pipe

my superjets dont have any sound deadening, and they are both older than the FX1, and the FX is still louder.

Ive been told the water box is the same as the squarenose water box?

is it because the hull is made of a different material?

It is kinda like the little dog syndrome, the smaller the dog the the louder the bark. Or like the guy with the little pecker, well, we dont have to talk about Gil now do we!!!!!!!

it is handlaid glass....it resonates more and is louder

They have a smaller diameter exhaust hose than a RN. But they are definately a higher pitch.
When they say "it screams" they mean it!
