talked to Harry Klemm at group k today. for 300 bones he'll bore and tune the carbs an modify the stock intake manifold. he says with my setup (b-pipe, new head w/35cc) it should work really well.

is there a better option for that kind of money?

thanks for the help

I would have to say OEM 44s. I tried them on my ski last year and even though I never got them tuned I could tell it made so much more power.

Brett Call Dan at Jet World he will install tune and test them (by putting it in the lake) so you will be dialed in from the start
Personally I would save your pennys for dual 44s

would 44s work well with stock porting? im on a major budget here (after riding andrew and EJs skis a -2 pole and lowered bracket moved quite a few spaces up on the list)

Brett keep the 38s they will work fine for your setup. Yes i would go with the handling mods first scince you live near good surf! I you are on a budget shorten your stock pole and speed up your stering nozzle.Even without the lowerd bracket it will make a huge diff. My boat has 38s with mild porting and i like the power altho I am starting to get power hungry...lol Btw coung has a lowerd bracket he may let you have for not a lot of green E.J.

i just tried to contact dan at jet world, and both times i was put on hold until the line disconnected after 6 minutes. bummer. after checking out the site i realized i could buy most of what i need from that place( i still need motor mounts, gaskets, etc). guess ill try again tomorrow.
im just gonna clean the stock 38s up and run them for now and save for what i really want.
im gonna get some carbon tech reeds and some spacer to move my carbs back as to allow the stock f/a to mount up?-i haven't found one yet and if you know what im talkin about let me know. i still have to install my primer kit too.
