keepin water out of front cover

hey all just wonderin what everyone does to keep water out of the front (stator) cover been gettin water in there and its pi@@#% me off now thanks in advance

I just put a little grease on the gasket and have never had a problem.

Put marine grade grease around the grommet as well.

if theres alot of water and it happens often , I would look at why is there water in your bilge area and try to fix that first, or slow it down some. new hood seal ,etc..

scupper , or bilge pump.
definately do what mike and mark said!

i had water intrusion 3-4 times until I figured that part out...
