08 build questions

OK, so I have my boat cleaned out, a box of new parts, and I am looking for a little help...

I will move this to the build thread next, but I was looking at a thread not to long ago that had a hull buildup that was really..REALLY>>>REALLY clean. kevlar interior()yellow/ gold)color maybe?

Anyone remember the thread or the photos?

I wanted to check that thread for ideas and materials...

So did you all ready strip your ski??

Im going to try and get some more rides in,this weekend at the lake for sure(as long as it works out) I might have to wire my parents house for tv and telephones this weekend. I so want to cut my pole but not sure how much,,2 or 3"?? The good news is my stock turf is finally worn to the glass on the sides. So I have template for my holds as well as a excuse for turf.

I think Im going to strip mine after xmas when I have time off. Im also thinking of a scupper and another bilge up front,my kiddos love fountains.

Also if ya got any cool ideas for vinyl let me know, if I can get a cool eps file I can plot the vinyl at work,the stock stickers are bugging me bad.

Cant wait to cut into the skis and get started!!!

I still have the 550 to ride, so I have the new one taken apart, bagged into parts bags, and all cleaned out. I figured I better start some time..

I was looking for good threads on ski reinforcment, but I havent found what I was looking for. Someone had a thread with a really nice kevlar bottom with good foaming ideas and I cant find it???

I was trashed by the time we got to ride, only rode the 12 mile loop once then hit the pit bike track.I will post some pics tonight for you
Im running 24/7 well then did did some coustom enclosers on them.

Thanks ERIC that is the one I was looking for. That is a fantastic job.

I got my ski completely apart, got the factory stickers off, all of the padding out of the tray, but how in the hell so you get that black paddingoff the top of the tray? I ended up taking a razor blade to it. I know it will be covered up when I put the new padding in, but its still ugly...
