Can you use stock screws to install? After installing you just silicone the bolts in and you are ready to go? Are these correct?

But it easier with allen head bolts. Sometimes the stock bolts have little clearnce for the socket to fit.

Yeah that's the problem I had... use the allen bolts... much easier
put some silicone on those threads, tighten, and done.
Easy mod. You will like it.

I used allen head bolts too, couldn't get teh socket to fit. There is only one place in town (about 20minutes away) that has any selection on stainless in my town. I found i had to use two (2) different lengths to get it to work. Shorter in the back, slightly longer in the front.
I used red threadlocker. Why silicon? and what else would you NOT put threadlocker on?

I'm not sure if you're supposed to use red on anything on a ski.... I have been told no red... blue on everything that needs it...
