Stock 2007 superjet decals -- loose them or keep them?

I was thinking about taking off my stock 2007 superjet decals this winter. The problem is that I don't totally hate them... they look alright in my opinion. I was just thinking about taking them off so I could put some of my own decals on the ski... kind of give it my own personal touch. Problem with that is that I am not sure how some random decals I get off ebay or other sites are going to hold up... especially on the hood... I would be worried that the decals I put on would quickly get screwed up or start peeling off.... the stock ones seem pretty bullet-proof. I know a lot of you guys have stripped your decals and put on other ones.... any thoughts?

I'm not a big fan of the 07 stock stickers.

you can get long life out of vinyl stickers. I personally have had stickers made by twist graphics (Ollie Rastabean) on my car and ski for 3 years with no problems.

Has anyone gotten decals on ebay before? Are most made out of the same materials? I want my main decal to be this fox racing decal that I saw on ebay.....

The text would go below the hood, and the picture would be on the hood right above it. Not into MX but my last name is fox so it would be cool in that respect. Think that if someone else made this decal for me that it would be better quality? I think my goal is to keep the ski mostly black/gray/white.

That happens to my favorite graphics also. :laughing: That ski had 07 stickers on it for a very short time.

It’s a jet ski not a dirt bike gets some decals made and really personalizes that ski. IMO

I've been there a lot before... I like their kits... I will keep them in mind. I hope to make up something a little more personal though, so maybe I can have them make a custom kit or something. Maybe some skulls or something! haha j/k

he will do anything you can dream up. he sends proofs to your email so you can pick, choose and change things before he sends you a final draft for your okay. he does charge design time, but its well worth it, IMO.

he can expand, diminish or change up an existing design as well.

here's another vote for ollie @ twist graphix.

he's made the decals for both my green boats and i've had zero issues with decals peeling off/coming apart.

he even helped me design them before they were ever cut.

I have always been a huge fan of your green skis.... I want to make my ski look clean and keep it somewhat simple like you did... makes it look way better IMO than having tons of stickers all over the place.... mine will just be black.... what can I do with a black ski... hmm... maybe make it into the A-Team ski? lol... wait a minute... maybe if done right that might actually be cool... maybe I could get a transformer decal... nah... overdone... maybe a big decal of an easy button on the sides... hahaha... I need to do a lot more brainstorming here....
