I used to surf-ride a B2, it was my entry ski. I found it very nose heavy and lacked the bottom end I liked. I didn't want to invest any money into it to make it better. I bought a B1 instead.

IIRC, the weight limit is like 325#, riding two-up can be done but not too much fun in my opinion. It wasn't a bad ski by any means, I really did like it, my daughter loved it. I just rarely used mine after my B1/SJ revelation and needed garage space.

big, heavy, tank-like performance
they also eat lots of gas!

The Blaster2 weighs in at about 350 lbs, that is only 25 lbs more than an SXR.

The power out of the hole on this is much stronger than any other runabout out there.

as far as riding in the surf, as long as you do not land flat it is a great wave jumper........

unless you have ever ridden one in the surf, you have no idea what you are talking about.......... It has been years since I had my wifes in the surf, use to have a blast when the waves were kicking, buddy of mine would bring his HX also, we would actually take the Sport boats out when the surf was really kicking, before we had footholds.

You can surf ride and SUV if you wanted. The idea behind a B1 is light and nimble. Bars come up like a motorcycle, instead of out, like most other sit down skis.
