either way call ed brazina @ full spectrum and he will tell you how to set them up for your application.....

i know matt_E and a few others have had good success with calling him and getting there set-ups dialed in almost perfectly

hard to say, when he sets them up, he sets them to the specs of what they will be intended to be used. if you know who bought them originally, call him, he may tell you to send them to him, or something as easy as "Hey, I soldered closed one of the circuits, open it back up", he did this on one of tricky's first sets, had a circuit closed.........

Therin lie the questions: are they all basically similar, so a small modification could sway them one way or the next?

Or so obscenely different that a small modification will do little or nothing?

when he builds these carbs he builds them for a specific application...... sometimes to change that it may be as simple as drilling out where he soldered say one of the 4 pilot jets where it sprays into the throat of the carbs.

I've talked to Ed about this and it does have to do with epoxying & drilling some pilot holes to a specific size...

why wouldnt you just call Ed and ask him?
:dunno:

when you get them, call ed, tell him what you are running and i am betting once he gives you the set-up over the phone, you won't touch those carbs unless you have to rebuild the motor

Just tell him what they look like, what they got inscribed, and what color they are.
That's all he needed to tell me when he built mine.
