here I marked the holes.

seems like a race ( high rpm) type of mod.
I thought loosing the bombsite made these perform poorly on the bottom end?

I just shipped a 650 longblock (with exhaust) from WA to MI last week.
I put it into a plastic tub, and taped it up with 10 boxes or so. :haha:

I didn't have a box the right size, so I had to tape-make one.
Guy got it yesterday and was happy.
T'was 83lbs and cost $65 to ship via FedEx Ground with 400 bucks insurance.

I have gotten engines shipped in packing peanuts before,no tape over the exhaust or intake just thrown in a box and jammed full of packing peanuts.I also received a seadoo hood that they just taped cardboard over and shipped it,it was destroyed in shipping. Some people just either don't care or don't know any better I guess.:hitwithrock:

I shipped a 701 yesterday and just used a box, but I cut 1/4" luan plywood to teh sizes of the sides of the box to distribute the load an prevent any edges from coming through.

shipping an engine.....

-wrap in plastic bag sprayed with fogging oil.
-seal bag
-place bag in box large enough to accomadate engine
-pour expanding foam around engine
-seal box
-ship to buyer

little excessive but pretty guarantees it will get there in one piece
