Bought an ac pole. Didnt come with any bushings. Anyone know of anything I can use in the meantime while waiting?

I buy my bushings from home depot. They have a good garden department. I tend to prefer the bush that will survive the best.

On a more serious note...
My ATV had a bushing go bad on the rear shock. I couldn't find a bushing only. Anyone with a bushing said I had to buy the whole shock. My dad went to home depot, got some random bushing, and custom made it to fit the shock. It wasn't as good or last as long as the stock one did, but it was much better than spending hundreds replacing a good shock.

Was that the $75 pole? That was super cheap you should have know it wasn't perfect.
Go get some old skate board wheels and turn them down of a lathe.

i used the ones from the stock pole and i think i put those inside of the ones that are on the stock turnplate

Yea thats fine. Easier for me. Send me a PM for price and paypal account and ill send payment. I found some bronze bushings at lowes and ground the stock bushings alittle bit and fit them inside. Worked out pretty good but not perfect. Should get me through the weekend though. And whoever said use the stock turnplate i know that. I am talking about down at teh base where it meets the bracket. It comes with different bushings i believe because it has larger holes and is thinner than the stock one.
Yes it was $75 I'm pretty happy with it for $75 but i paid $60 for s&h. I was just surprised because i thought i was going to be good to go and it was dented and had no bushings. which i didnt know when i bought it. Oh well i can deal.

IF anybody wants to know the truth...this guy jump all over the 100 ac pole(which had pictures showing the dent and NO bushings) than after he gets he starts asking Qs.....so who thinks its better to ask before making a purchase???... I told it like it was...the pole the pix....what more am i suppose to do, write a in depth report on the condition.....its people like this guy that make trying to hook people up a waste of time.....at least he can deal:eek5:
