Kustom single trailers

so I sold my double today, going to sell my crusty single as well and get a brand new aluminum single

thinking about Jonboat style (linked below) so there's plenty of room for a box and fuel rack in front of the ski...

I have my trailer set up similar to the one pictured except that my box is larger and the beach cart is built in and acts as the bunks.
For me it's the best setup ever as all my ski gear is on the trailer. Since I tow with a sedan I don't have too much room in the car, the more I can throw onto the trailer the better.

Here's a picture of mine.

I keep 3 5Gal fuel jugs in the box along with oil, lubes, some spares and my wet gear.(Got the box at Lowes)
There's enough room on the trailer to make a rack and keep the jugs outside but I prefer to keep them locked up. When the need for spare parts gets greater I will build a rack to gain some space in the box.
The lawn tractor tires are for my beach cart. One day I will get off my a$$ and build some holders for those but for now the bungee cords work well. The big tires on top of the box help while reversing down a steep beach incline as the trailer itself is narrower than the tow vehicle.

That's right, my beach cart doubles as the bunks.
Or do my bunks double as the cart ?
I can never figure that out.

I would sure like an alum trailer. Mines pretty crusty too, but I'm gonna rock it till the wheels fall off.
You will be able to put 2 FX1's on that trailer.:sneaky:

Ive got an aluminum trailer, a featherlite.

I must say, I will probablky go steel next time.

its too much of a pain having to have someone else do the welding on it!

I can weld steel at home, I can weld aluminum too, BUT I dont have the machine to do so, and cant justify the $$$ since I dont do it very often.

the trailer sure is nice and light and corrosion free though, I like the torsion axles as well.
