how come skis dont have much metal flake?

I like a little metallic in the paint but the glitter is to much for me. It just looks like a rainbow colored junior high girl, and those are pretty much the most annoying thing God ever made...

just for you im gonna paint my ski in heavy metal rainbow flake and i am going to install tassles on the ends of my bars!! :cheer:

I think that the title of this thread should be corrected. Tho skis don't come with metalflake, many people seem to have it.

how did he do it.....that is paint right? i wonder how much a job like that would cost??

The flake is actually in the clear coat.
1. Lay down your color base coat
2. Mix glitter in with clear coat and spray (any color glitter)
3. Lay a few layers of just clearcoat over that
4. Get some shades to enjoy the bling!!:cool2:
 
Paint gun cleaner i think, Top piece of kit, Was brand new and top of the range when Metalflake was king....

Disco`s dead......Long live disco......LOL
