Squarenose poles are nasty looking. They are overly bulky and sport a huge chinpad area. Even if you modified an OEM pad it would look brutal.

I'd get a roundnose stocker or a roundnose aftermarket now.

I don't think they even sell aftermarket pads for the monster squarenose...

Sell the AC for $200, get a bracket and OEM roundnose pole, shave your own pad. You hopefully won't spend a dime.

oem roundnose pole wouldnt last me two rides in the surf, plus i have a blowsion billit lowered square bracket...i guess ill just look for another stock chinpad and recover it..but the guy who had my ski before me used non stainless hardware on the chinpad and the screws are seriously stuck in the pole...my buddy snapped one of when we tried to remove em..ill hae to retap it..

well lots of people use rn poles on squares, didn't know many people made after market square pads.

THeres nothing wrong with my ac pole...just the tabs on the pad are roached...the stock one fits the pole really well i was just thinking someone made an aftermarket one for the ac...(btw the ac looks exactally like a stocker (square) only shorter and made ut of aluminum)...running a stock rn pole would be a downgrade..im not gonna do that

i got an aluminum, square, handle pole and the screws in the chin pad where rusted to i used my dremel and cut the screws right behind the tabs and then used vice grips to get the rest of the screws out. needless to say it stripped the tabs on the handle pole. i just went and bought two stainless steel self tapers and put it back on and they are beefier than the screws that where in it.
