Easy on the hatin guys. I had never ridden a watercraft at all before last summer and I did buy a couch, but not all of us are irresponsible, dangerous and inconsiderate. I make concerted efforts to know where I am and who is around me at all times...and yes I even look behind me before I turn.

Reality....this is not a stand-up/sit-down debate. It's about the responsiblity of parents educating their kids on the use of ANY watercraft. Same would go for the use of motorcycles, 4wheelers, hell even bikes. Unfortunately this dad has just paid his stupid tax at the expense of his child.

We saw another example of this same type of situation last weekend at Crystal Beach. An 8-9 year old kid was driving a golf cart up and down the beach by himself. And this is a beach that is a state roadway for cars and was quite busy. We watched him just about kill himself several times and there was never an adult to be seen.
