Freestyle Better Foot Holds

What Recommendations would you guys have for better foot holds on my Aquabot? The ones that came with at are a little tight and don't hold my feet or heels in at all? Thanks!

Those look like they have a lot of padding. Remove some of it and add wedges underneath your feet. That will greatly increase comfort and keep you better locked in

Those are the best footholds you can get. You'll just want to remove the turf and repad them i recommend using 2 layers of 10mm padding because its softer and conforms to the curve easier for better adhesion. Then shape it to fit your foot. You can add some molded diamond after you shape it. You'll end up removing padding from the sides where it touches your shoe depending on the size of your foot. That will give you the clearance you need. Once you get that right, you'll love those footholds. They are very comfortable and keep you locked in. Adding a small wedge under the heel helps as well. Just make sure when you kick in, you kick straight otherwise your toe hits the hold and hurts like a sumbitch

I was just day dreaming about how much I liked those specific footholds the other day and like mentioned above they were set up with a large amount of padding.
Personally I got so tired of my feet coming out of the holds on my current ski , even with cut wedges, that I’m going back to heel blocks.
Nothing more irritating then spending 1/2 of my ride kicking my feet into the holds.

I also noticed shoe selection played a big role in comfort. I know most people use wrestling shoes which generally work well. With the adjustable holds,I ended up liking shoes that have a little thicker sole which helps grip better. After that I never had issues staying in the holds. This photo should give you an idea on how much padding to go with.

I cant remember exactly how much adjustability there is on the foot holds maybe one inch or an inch and a half? So you guys are saying eliminate some padding on the bottom side of the foot hold to make more room which I assume would help my feet stay in better. Also I like the idea of the wedge I have seem them before, looks like I would have to tear the turf out and them install it and put new turf in. Do most people use the wedge or is that just preference? Thanks.

So you are saying to remove the turf on the tray and use less padding under the Hydra turf? That would make sense since it seems pretty thick, thanks.

Use less padding on the hold itself around th sides below the arc. I posted a pic of the holds i did on my old superjet that I put adjustable holds in. You can see how the padding gets thinner towards the bottom of the arch. There's not much adjustment available but just enough to change it up a little. I drew on the pic where to remove padding for more clearance.
