I don't see a hull in those pics , I see a set of molds that haven't even been prepped to lay a hull up in yet, and you are dealing with Jeff , so yeah good luck on this.

I would personally build the rip hull you have and you can always spend a weekend swapping over the parts to the new hull...when you get it.

The molds are clearly gel coated and waiting for fiberglass. I’m pretty sure it’s getting laid up today.

I hope you are correct and that he gets to ride it soon, no worries.

Photos of the hill out of the molds.

I knew Jeff and wdk were a touchy subject on here but jeez haha. I just want to put it out there that in the short time I’ve known Jeff I have had no complaints.

Don't get me wrong even though there were a lot of negative threads on Waterdawg , I always hoped he would get it together, it looks like he has done so and that is good for everybody.

Took delivery of this beaut today. I want to say a hug thanks to Jeff. The hull looks amazing and Jeff has been exceptionally helpful. For all of you naysayers out there Jeff built this hull for me in about 2 weeks from when I gave him the go ahead and deposit. I think it would be cool if we could stop with all the bad mouthing of companies in the industry. No one is forcing you to support anyone you don’t want to but no need to go out and talk down about a brand. Anyways rant over.

I got the engine assembled this week and am going to drop it in here soon for mock up and to get the locations figured out for my rotalocs.

I decided to go with Jeff’s new pole he’s been developing and Ive got hopefully my last big order of parts going in Monday. Hoping to be on the water in a few weeks!

Good looking ski, if you have both the RIP and the weapon side by side, you should do a little comparison in the hull section. Length, weight and other changes you see would be cool to note. As far as the hate on WDK, I don't know how long youve been in the jetski game but I think there was a time where WDK was backed up significantly which is why people were wondering on timing. That is really fast to turn out a hull after purchase tho, congrats!

I don’t have the rip anymore. That would have been super interesting though. A guy semi local to me bought it so I may be able to do some comparison later this summer if we ride together. It would be with both skis ready to ride. From what I’ve noticed the tray is significantly longer on the weapon. Theres also a few more inches of space in the engine compartment.

I’ve been on these forums for about 15 years and pwctoday. I’ve seen the criticism and I’m sure that there have been times where Jeff was too busy to build hulls or they took months to build. We all go through periods where we are especially busy, to me that’s reasonable so long as the time frame is communicated. The problem that I see is you get this eco chamber effect where it’s unclear who actually had a bad experience and who is just repeating what they heard. For that matter we all know how jet skiers can get when they order parts mid season and are itching to get on the water. It’s difficult to ever get to the truth of the matter.

All I’m trying to say is my expectations have been exceeded.

Steadily progressing toward getting this ski done with a ton of help and expertise from Jeff at wdk The pump is put together in and aligned with a new prop and pitch components trim system. The mid shaft is in. Ported and port matched the factory pipe manifold but then ran into an issue with the head pipe hitting the hull. It took an rickter coupler spacer and some pretty significant grinding to the boss on the b pipe. I de-watermeloned the rad dudes

jabroni tank and got he handle pole bracket and ebox mounted. What is hopefully the last order of parts showed up to push this project across the finish line. The last major component I'm waiting for is the first ever wdk visual carbon pole. Couldn't be more stoked!
