Been trash talking with a coucher on a drag race once it warms up.

modded SJ with regular goodies VS a stock GP1200r.
Who would win to say,,,, 50mph?

I am pretty sure the SJ would spank the GP until about 40-50mph.

You'll probabaly take him for the first 150' after that its over....

If you're riding my boat you'll take him for the first 50' than start cavitating so bad you'll sub the machine.

Fortunatly for you...I have done this race several times  (i own a 1200r)..youre going to pull him by 4-5 boat lengths off the line and hold it for a good 7 seconds, maybe 100-150 yards or more until he reaches speed- then hell pull you pretty fast

so make sure you have a short lake under a mile across and youll win:cool2:

I don't know...., I'll drop it before the spring and figure it out. Probably something simple. Could be my plate, not siliconed.

The boat was just thrown together to make it through last year. Its stripped down now and ready for a build, in teh stripping/planning stages now.

Exactly! Because people only care about the top speed. However I have convinced more then 4-5 people after test riding an FX140 and an SJ, that it wouldnt matter if the SJ went 30 mph and was a stock 650, its still more fun:biggrin: BTW, a stock 650 holds its own against a 140 for about 5 seconds or so until it really gets on plane (shallow water start of course!)
